About - Precision Playmakers Soccer Training
Mission Statement -
Precision Playmakers soccer training involves a comprehensive approach to soccer training. Emphasizing both technical and physical development for individuals and groups. First, having a love for soccer, we believe that work ethic, passion, and diligence are the driving forces behind success. Our mission is to nurture these qualities in every player while providing the skill based trainings to improve footwork, speed, decision making, and a profound understanding of the game. Another part to this is bringing "service to others." As you talk with me, Nick Matesa, I hope to bring a joy to the game of soccer, but also inspire our youth to help others in need. Part of the proceeds raised will be to help families who can't afford to pay for soccer trainings. As this program grows, I hope we also have players take on volunteer roles to train the next generation in the community. As early as 12 to 13 years old, players helping younger ages is paramount in nurturing the whole person.
At Precision Playmakers Soccer it is important that parents' have a vital role in a player's development. Communication is always present to maintain your involvement and support. Please reach out for any updates and support. Email - precisionplaymakerssoccer@gmail.com

COACHING- The ability to teach, instruct, develop, play, encourage and work hard! But the work starts with the player!
Coach Nick Matesa
Nick Matesa has been coaching and teaching for 20 plus years. As a United States grass roots and D licensed youth coach where he took the Gaithersburg High School Boys Soccer team to the Regional Finals for the first time in school history and leading those teams from 2005 - 2011. After he and his wife had their three children, he went on to coach with Carrol Manor Youth Soccer in Adamstown, MD and FC Frederick youth soccer from 2016 - 2022. Seeing talented players needing more individual coaching while instilling training techniques is why he wanted to start Precision Playmakers Soccer training. And the "service to others" is what he hopes will be great to give back to the community. Nick Matesa is a graduate and soccer player of Salisbury University. As well as a Physical Education Teacher in Montgomery County Maryland. A lifelong resident of Frederick County, playing high school soccer and graduating from Walkersville, MD.
I hope to give my knowledge to each player, parent, and family to help them in their child's journey. My three children all play at the highest levels in club soccer. My oldest son is playing in the U14 Boys MLS Next league against MLS youth teams D.C. United, Philadelphia Union, and New York Red Bulls. My daughter plays U12 with Bethesda Soccer Club in the ECNL league against the most talented teams in the area. Seeing all the levels of play from Frederick, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, coaching and saying the right things individually is paramount to developing each player. Precision Playmaker Soccer training will lead to each individual achieving soccer success and developing into a great player and person.
Nick Matesa is passionate about one-on-one coaching, bringing together this community, and mentoring players who aspire to elevate their game and work hard to their full potential.
See you on the field!
Thank you,
Nick Matesa
